On Friday 30th May, colleagues across EMS took a well-deserved moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate recent achievements at the 2025 Partnerships Awards. The wins – Best SPV Management Company of the Year and Environment, Social & Government Company of the Year – marked a defining moment in EMS’s journey, recognising our commitment to excellence in management services.

We held a companywide celebration, coming together as a community to honour the remarkable contribution each person makes to the success of the business. From regional teams to remote individuals, everyone was encouraged to celebrate in their own way.

EMS CEO Richard Knight took a trip down memory lane back to Derbyshire County Council where it all started: Equitix’s first investment and EMS’s first MSA contract in 2009. The Italian team took a refreshing walk in the woods along an old and abandoned railway that follows the Astico river in the province of Vicenza.

Other activities included aerial tree top adventures with family, the exploration of Disneyland, the Leeds team – divided by two – faced off against each other in The Great Escape (team two won but at a heavy cost), the Manchester team opted for a friendly darts competition and our colleagues in Glasgow built the tallest tower in the office.

Winning Best SPV Management Company of the Year 2025 recognised the strengths of EMS, the diligence of our teams, and our ability to consistently deliver value through long-term partnerships. The ESG Company of the Year award reflected our unwavering dedication to sustainability and social responsibility – values that run deep through every aspect of our work.
