We are delighted to announce that in May 2023 we agreed three year rolling contracts on six LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust) contracts.
We initially entered into contracts across the six LIFTs in April 2018. Those contracts were due to expire in December 2023, but they will now roll forward from 1 January 2024.

LIFT provides primary healthcare facilities to the communities they serve and are a form of Public Private Partnership where the government has a minority shareholding.
The six LIFTs are in Barnsley, Doncaster, Greater Nottingham, Leicester, North Nottinghamshire and Southern Derbyshire. They have procured 53 properties via 16 FundCos (SPVs) with a GIFA across the properties of circa 150,000m2.

The teams in Leeds and Nottingham resource EMS’s delivery via a joint venture called EMS Community Ventures Limited, which is jointly owned by EMS and Community Ventures Management Limited, a healthcare business development specialist company which exclusively delivers services to LIFT contracts.
