The £165m Royal Papworth Hospital project commenced in April 2015 consisting of design, construction, financing, and provision of FM Services and Lifecycle throughout the 30 year operational term. The Hospital was fully handed over in January 2019.

The 43,000m2 specialist cardio thoracic hospital is situated on a 7 acre site on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The first patient was treated on 1st May 2019, with the hospital being officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen on 9th July 2019.

It is the UK’s leading heart and lung hospital.

In May 2024, the Project was awarded Best Operation Project – Healthcare at the Partnership Awards, with the judges noting that they were impressed by the alignment of the parties and quality of the asset and services.
