EMS has been recognised by the industry as the SPV Management Company of
the Year at the 2025 Partnerships Awards.
The judges highlighted our innovative, client-first approach, which continues to
transform how SPVs are managed in today’s evolving infrastructure landscape. This
recognition celebrates more than just being the best SPV Management Company – it
speaks to the heart of our mission: delivering excellence in long term partnerships.
During the 12 month period up to the award, EMS processed over 16,000 contract
deliverables, administered more than 650 legal entities, and managed nearly 2,000
contracts – supporting everything from 12,000+ hospital beds, 700,000 solar
panels, to schools educating 50,000 pupils. We have taken on challenging projects,
distressed relationships, introduced ESG-led initiatives, and launched dedicated
business units to shape the future of management services in the PFI / PPP sector.
Whether through new models like income strip (leading management service
provider for the University of Manchester student accommodation project) and direct
procurement for customers (developing the management solution for the
Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme project), or supporting early PFI
contract handback and expiry (Lancaster Mental Health PFI), we are proving that
excellence in SPV management requires not only technical and financial skill but
care, agility, and vision.
EMS celebrated it’s 10th year in 2024 and continues to go from strength to strength
with maximum focus on achieving best value for our clients and wider
stakeholders – whether that be creation or protection of value!
EMS is not backward looking, we look to the future and how we will always continue
to deliver excellence and evolve as required, which was positively recognised by the
judges when awarding EMS as the SPV Management Company of the Year.
This award is an accolade for every member of the EMS team and our colleagues
across the Equitix Group. This is more than just a win – it’s a milestone in our shared
journey to bring infrastructure to life.
